myrtle's facelift

well, here is my fist attempt at a blog.  not sure how i'll like it, but lots of folks have wanted to see updates on our DIY renovations.  so, now i can post pictures.  our house has taken most of our attention since we bought her a few years ago.  but now, with the news of our coming twins, we have some definitive deadlines for miss myrtle.
