Almost six weeks...

On Tuesday, Griffin and Eleanor will be six weeks old, believe it or not.  I think back on these last few weeks and much is a blur.  Now that they are getting close to this six week mark, life is starting to change for them.  One big change is they are now sleeping in their nursery!  Also, I am about to stop nursing so feeding them will go a lot faster soon.  But, I will miss that intimate time with each twin, even though I am looking forward to having the freedom that bottle feeding allows.  Ellie has settled down some (knock on wood), and she has become a good little sleeper.  She still has her fussy time (who doesn't, right?), but besides that time she goes right on down and sleeps till her next feeding.  She is so pretty.  Griffin is still as laid back as ever; such a gentle little soul.  We have had lots of poop and spit up experiences, which in retrospect are funny.  Let's just say we are all mastering the art of the quick diaper change.  Having your mind in the right place to get that diaper changed without a major poop or pee incident is the key.  Mostly, we have loved being at home, spending time getting to know these two little people and introducing the twins to our family and friends.  We have started what will be a wonderful summer.

This picture is very indicative of their personalities.

Mom and I took the twins to Vicksburg to see the river.  Amazing.

Twins First trip to Cazuala- very monumental.  Hehe

Chelsea is helping me this summer with the twins.  She is a life savor (and the twins christened her quickly).

Cousins- hard to believe Griffin will catch up to Caroline before too long.
